Responsibilities: During your time in the internship program, you will be expected to demonstrate the following:
Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team's goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences
Utilize financial data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses as well as the implications for potential strategies
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Specific internship responsibilities will vary based on your assignment
Defined projects and responsibilities will be done under the supervision of a senior Finance team member
Reviewing the credit limits of existing customers to determine if they qualify for an increase in their credit limit.
Assess the borrower's repayment history, earnings information, as well as any history of defaulting on credit.
Coordinate with banks & financial institutions for trade finance related matters.
Support trade finance activities within the organization, including but not limited to documentation, updating & tracking of document flow.
Coordinate with treasury department for preparation & issuance of bank guarantees.
Requirements to apply
Qualifications
Pursuing a BS/BA in Accounting or Finance with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience
Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership of work projects, etc.
