Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Intern / Temporary Accountant to support our accounting team in day-to-day operations. The candidate will assist in bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, data entry, and general accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with bank reconciliations Support in data entry of financial transactions Perform vendor reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies Help with preparation and posting of journal entries Run basic reports and summaries using Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Collaborate with team members on ad hoc accounting tasks

Requirements

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal entry concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and communication skills Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines Prior internship or exposure to accounting systems * Must be available to join immediately
