Job Description

we are looking for Finance Executive, who will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves managing the accounting team, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management and external stakeholders. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide insights to management. Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.

General Ledger Management:

Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting activities.

Tax Compliance:

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to manage tax audits and inquiries. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Allocate resources and manage workloads to ensure efficient and effective operations. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

Audit Coordination:

Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and interim reviews. Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation and explanations. Address audit findings and implement recommendations to improve processes and controls.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance financial reporting and analysis. Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. High level of integrity and professionalism.
