We are currently partnering with a global pharmaceutical leader to recruit a Finance Director for the META region. Based in Dubai, this senior leadership role will be responsible for driving the financial strategy across Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. The Finance Director will lead financial planning and analysis, business partnering, and regional reporting while playing a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making to drive sustainable growth.

What You'll be Doingxe2x80xa6
- Lead the full finance function for the META region, including FP&A, controlling, compliance, and financial operations.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the regional leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Drive initiatives focused on margin expansion, cost optimization, and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements across multiple markets.
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team across the region, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with commercial, medical, and supply chain teams to support cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects.
- Provide financial leadership in M&A activities, business cases, investment decisions, and market entries where applicable.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive finance leadership experience within multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare companies.
- Strong regional experience across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa markets is essential.
- Proven track record of acting as a true business partner, supporting executive leadership teams in driving strategic and operational decisions.
- Expertise in FP&A, commercial finance, and financial governance.
- Experience managing cross-border teams in complex, matrix organizations.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Resilient, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
