This position is responsible for supporting a broad range of financial, accounting, business, and decision support services for India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) Region. Candidate should be able to relate financial results to operational events and highlights opportunities to improve financial performance. Conveys Finance requirements to non-Finance functions and can influence outside of function. Strategically partners with the business to advance business initiatives and proactively address business needs.
Responsibilities includes:
Business Performance Analysis
Financial Planning and Decision Support.
Governance & Finance related activities of all our entities within India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) Region
Account reconciliations/coordination of quarterly reconciliation reporting process.
SOX Testing & Coordination.
Assist Senior Analyst in external/internal audit co-ordination.
Provides oversight of the processes performed by Shared Services
Special Projects within the region
Requirements:
CPA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
7 + years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with any reputed Multinational Company, preferably Oil & Gas Industry with Big 4 audit firms experience.
Ability to operate with self-direction and initiative, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision
Practicing knowledge of accounting policies/procedures (including US GAAP, IFRS)
Working knowledge of VAT & Corporate Tax is preferred.
Good experience in using systems (such as SAP, Essbase), with strong proficiency in spreadsheets, financial models and digital dashboards in data analysis.
Experience in corporate group compliance, business performance review & reporting.
Proficient in financial &/or business analysis with understanding of financial statements and sales channel business drivers.
Business acumen, with the ability to shape measurement of key performance drivers.
