Job Summary:

PLUS UAE / Vortexen Dynamics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Finance Controller

to lead our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE accounting standards, tax laws, and financial management within a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting and financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and VAT filings. Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk. Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes. Review and approve financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies. Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance/accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or controller position in the UAE Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT laws, and corporate finance principles Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
