Job Description

1. ROLE OVERVIEW



Growbox Group is seeking a highly competent

Finance & Compliance Manager

to oversee and manage our Audit, Taxation, Accounting, and Compliance verticals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Delivering high-quality client services (VAT, Corporate Tax, Accounting, AML, ESR, E-invoicing). Converting social-media-generated leads into paying clients. Ensuring seamless onboarding, documentation, filings, and regulatory compliance. Supervising internal teams and ensuring 100% accuracy, timely submissions, and FTA/MoF compliance. Enhancing Growbox's reputation for excellence and reliability.
This role requires a

finance professional with CA/ACCA/CMA qualification or strong BAHRAIN compliance experience

.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



A. Audit & Accounting Oversight



Review and finalize bookkeeping, financial statements, MIS reports, and audit schedules for clients. Ensure IFRS-compliant reporting (full IFRS / IFRS for SMEs as applicable). Monitor internal audit procedures, risk assessments, and documentation controls. Supervise accounting team and ensure consistent delivery quality.

B. Taxation (UAE CT & VAT)



End-to-end VAT & Corporate Tax compliance, filing, and advisory. Review CT calculations, tax reconciliations, and deferred tax assessments. Ensure timely filing of VAT Returns, CT Returns, Disclosure Forms, and registrations/de-registrations. Advise clients on FTA notices, penalties, assessments & appeals.

C. Regulatory Compliance



Oversee AML (Anti-Money Laundering) framework for clients - policies, risk assessment, KYC, UBO, GoAML filings. Ensure ESR (Economic Substance Regulations) compliance - Notification & Reporting. Manage E-invoicing implementation and ASP integrations as per UAE MoF requirements. Maintain compliance calendars & ensure zero-penalty operations.

D. Client Management & Operations



Convert social media leads into clients through professional consultations & structured proposals. Conduct client meetings, understand business models, and recommend correct compliance strategies. Manage onboarding, document collection, engagement letters, and CRM updating. Ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery through Zoho/ERP systems.

E. Business Growth & Performance



Achieve monthly targets for new clients & revenue from compliance services. Improve efficiency of internal systems, workflows, and automation tools. Train junior staff, interns, and outsourced accountants. Maintain exceptional client satisfaction and build long-term client relations.

3. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS



Education & Credentials



CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred. Minimum

3-7 years BAHRAIN / GCC experience

in Audit, Tax & Compliance (mandatory). Strong technical knowledge of BAHRAIN Corporate Tax Law, VAT Law, AML, ESR, and IFRS.

Technical Skills



Expertise in CT/VAT filing portals, GoAML, MoF, FTA platforms. Strong command of IFRS & Financial Statement preparation. Hands-on with accounting software (Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, Xero). Ability to run financial analysis, reconciliations & tax reviews.

Soft Skills



Excellent communication & presentation skills. Strong negotiation ability (for converting leads). Team leadership & deadline management. High integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD200.000 - BD400.000 per month
