Job Description

The Finance Business Controller at Nokia is instrumental in driving financial performance within the Customer Account sector. This role involves financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while actively identifying risks and opportunities. The Controller collaborates with sales and project teams to support decision-making and reduce working capital needs, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal controls. As an advisor, the Controller mentors staff and stakeholders, leverages AI tools, and fosters productive relationships across the organization. Candidates should possess advanced skills in finance with 4-6 years of relevant experience and SOCPA certification.

Manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis for assigned Customer Accounts. Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks and opportunities. Drive business performance through financial insights and stakeholder presentations. Ensure compliance with Nokia's accounting principles and Sarbanes-Oxley policies. Reduce working capital needs through systematic strategies. Act as an advisor and mentor for staff and stakeholders. Consult on project setup and leverage AI tools for efficiency. Develop and implement recommendations to improve processes and drive innovation.

Must-Have:

7 years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis. SOCPA certification or equivalent professional designation. Proven track record in identifying and mitigating financial risks and opportunities. Experience with compliance standards including Nokia accounting principles and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) policies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders effectively.
