Job Description
Our client, one of the well established government entity in Abu Dhabi, UAE is currently searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to support the finance function within their Energy business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Support the annual planning process by preparing a 5-year business plan and one-year monthly budget, ensuring compliance with group and joint venture requirements
- Coordinate data collection, consolidation, and analysis across group companies using ERP systems and Excel, ensuring quality, consistency, and accurate reflection of adjustments
- Review plan submissions, address concerns, clarify variances, and ensure alignment with prior plans, investment cases, and accounting methods
- Manage the full reporting and forecasting cycle, consolidating financial data, facilitating timely submissions, and ensuring variance analysis and reconciliation
- Assist with financial dashboards, senior management reports, and handle ad-hoc reporting, monthly accruals, and budget approvals across group companies
Requirements:
- UAE National with a Family Book
- Bachelor\'s degree Finance/ Business Administration, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in reporting, planning and budgeting or a similar role in Finance
- Highly organized and strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and targets
