Position: Finance Associate
Location: Oud Metha Offices, Dubai, UAE
Position Purpose
Axios International is seeking a Finance Associate to join our team in Dubai, reporting to the Management Accountant. The purpose of the position is to oversee the reconciliation of accounts and the timely posting of transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working closely with the operations team and the other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining reconciliations on an ongoing basis, with the highest level of accuracy.
- Acting as cover for other finance team members when they are on leave or as is required.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks that may arise.
- Finance teams in both Dubai and Dublin
- Operations team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Independent and innovative problem solver
- Able to see projects through to completion.
- Works to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Organised & highly numerate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 4+ years working in a busy, demanding varied finance role
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent MS Office skills
- The position is based in our regional office and may occasionally entail travel.
- Flexibility in ability to travel as well as working hours is essential.
