The Role Responsibilities
- To assist the CFO / Financial Manager in overseeing the day-to-day management of operational risks within Finance.
- To assist in maintaining an effective control environment ensuring that all financial control requirements and regulatory reporting requirements are met with zero tolerance.
- To compile and ensure compliance of all finance related Local Regulatory / Group laws, rules and guidelines.
- To prepare and submit daily regulatory and group ratios and proactively escalate any potential breaches.
- To perform end to end Accounts Payable process and Fixed Assets capitalization and review process.
- To ensure all payments hits the appropriate GL account and cost centre.
- To prepare and submit WHT Statement and Contract reporting details to Tax department timely.
- To perform activity of Nostro accounts clearance on a daily / Monthly basis.
- To perform archiving of APU and Regulatory on regular basis.
- To assist in providing accurate information for Internal and External Audit.

- Assist LM in formulating and supporting initiatives with respect to implementation of strategic business plans

- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Lead the Qatar Finance function to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]
