As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department's daily operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts Prepare and file financial documents, reports, and statements Support month-end and year-end closing processes Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 1-3 years of experience in a similar finance assistant role Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations Excellent time management and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred) Adaptability to learn new financial systems and processes quickly Seniority level
