to manage financial processes for our dynamic business, which includes both delivery services and transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and excel in using accounting software and spreadsheets for financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly, including expenses, revenues, and journal entries.
Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, manage payment schedules, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers.
Generate invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain records of all customer accounts and transactions.
Administer payroll processes including calculating wages, handling deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and employment regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate tracking of all financial transactions.
Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Analyze costs related to transport and delivery operations, ensuring proper allocation and control of expenses.
Utilize Excel and other software tools to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for the business.
Ensure financial records adhere to legal requirements, regulations, and internal policies, and assist in preparing for audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on bookkeeping, AP, AR, and payroll management.
Previous experience working in a transport or delivery-related business is highly preferred.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
Proficiency in using accounting software such as Zoho, Xero, or similar systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial management and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Last-mile delivery business and transport operations
Proven experience with Payroll process.
Knowledge of transport-related costs and budgeting processes
