Support the Finance Manager in day-to-day bookkeeping of the UK Business. Duties include reconciling accounts, entering invoices and liaise with customers.
Key Accountabilities:
Work from the UAE office, with the team in the UK (following UK office hours)
Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth customer experience
Work with the production team on daily invoices across multiple markets (UK & EU)
Manage contact details for all customer accounts, including ensuring all customer documents are complete and up to date
Support management to investigate and resolve customer payment-related issues
Reconciliation of supplier accounts and costing in inventory software
Entering and reconciling intercompany accounts in several currencies
Send statement of accounts
Assist with annual external audit
Record all financial transactions pertaining to inventory movements
Manage daily reconciliation of sales, purchases, bank accounts and credit cards in finance software.
Support Finance Manager to raise and present monthly financial reporting
Accurately record all tax for VAT purposes
Key Competencies:
Must have previous experience with UK accounting practices and VAT
At least 2 year's experience in an finance admin position in the UAE
Formal accounting qualification from a certified institution is a requirement
Fluent in written and spoken English
Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel are essential as well as good general computer literacy.
