Accountant

to manage and oversee all financial operations of our business.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of

UAE accounting practices

, including VAT filing, corporate tax compliance, payroll, and banking processes. This role requires hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting as well as the ability to provide financial insights that support decision-making and business growth.

Responsibilities

Manage full cycle accounting operations, including

accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

.

Prepare and file

VAT returns

and handle VAT refunds.

Ensure compliance with

UAE Corporate Tax

regulations, including filing, reporting, and maintaining proper documentation.

Process and review invoices, receipts, and expense reports.

Track income and expenses, ensuring accurate classification and reconciliation.

Manage and execute

payroll

including salary calculation, deductions, and WPS compliance.

Handle

banking activities

, including payments, transfers, reconciliations, and credit facilities.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Monitor and manage

cash flow

to ensure financial stability.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Review financial data to identify trends, risks, liabilities, and opportunities for profit maximization.

Ensure proper documentation and filing for audits and compliance requirements.

Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and banks when required.

Provide management with timely updates and recommendations on financial performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of UAE

VAT and Corporate Tax

laws and compliance requirements.

Proven experience with

invoicing, payroll, budgeting, and expense tracking

.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).

Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.

Experience in banking relations and reconciliations is highly preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
