About the Role

The Finance & Accounts Officer will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting and financial operations at Crestline. This junior-level position is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic startup environment while gaining exposure to real estate finance in the UAE. The role involves working closely with our external consultant/CA firm and directly supporting leadership, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across projects.

Requirements

1-3 years' experience in accounting/finance (junior-level role). Hands-on knowledge of Tally and general accounting applications. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and MS Excel. Eager to learn real estate-specific finance processes (DLD, RERA, Oqood, Escrow). Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality. Good communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare, maintain, and reconcile general ledger accounts. Record daily financial transactions including payables, receivables, and journal entries. Monitor project cash flows, budgets, and cost allocations. Work closely with Crestline's external consultant/CA firm for reporting and compliance. Support management with financial analysis for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and vendor payments. Track accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on collections. Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and statements. Cash & Treasury Management Manage petty cash and cash flow requirements. Monitor daily bank balances and ensure timely deposits and withdrawals. Support in planning for fund requirements and liquidity management.
Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns. Basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) of Dubai Land Department (DLD), RERA & Escrow account regulations. In coordination, maintain proper documentation for audit and liaise with external auditors. Support compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Administrative Support

Maintain accurate filing of financial records and contracts. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all real estate transactions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements. Prepare management reports and dashboards for decision-making. Coordinate with banks, auditors, and government authorities when required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
