- Field Supervisor (Waste Management)
As a Field Supervisor, you will be the frontline driver of operational excellence across our waste management services. This role demands proactive coordination, real-time problem-solving, and strong leadership to ensure field teams deliver consistent service quality across all assigned locations.
You will oversee team performance, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain seamless communication between operations, clients, and field staff. The position is suited for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and can take ownership of daily field execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Field Operations Oversight
Supervise daily waste collection operations and team movements across assigned zones.
Ensure all trucks, drivers, and helpers comply with route plans, schedules, and service requirements.
Monitor field issues and take corrective actions immediately.
2. Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead, guide, and motivate field teams to maintain discipline and performance.
Conduct daily briefings, assign duties, and ensure manpower is optimally deployed.
Handle attendance, shift allocation, and replacement arrangements.
3. Compliance & Safety Management
Enforce PPE usage and adherence to HSE standards.
Ensure all vehicles follow Tadweer and Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations.
Report safety violations, near misses, and incidents promptly.
4. Client Interaction & Service Quality
Coordinate with client representatives for smooth service delivery.
Resolve on-site client complaints, service delays, or quality issues professionally.
Maintain service logs and ensure accurate reporting of daily activities.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare daily operational reports, attendance sheets, route performance updates, and checklists.
Track truck availability, downtime, and maintenance requirements.
Escalate operational concerns to management with actionable insights.
6. Problem-Solving & Decision Making
Respond to urgent operational challenges such as staff shortages, breakdowns, or sudden client needs.
Coordinate support teams (workshop, HR, operations) to ensure uninterrupted service.
7. Duty Rota & Workforce Planning
Prepare, manage, and update the daily/weekly duty rota for drivers, helpers, and field teams.
Ensure adequate manpower coverage for all shifts, routes, and client sites.
Coordinate replacements, handle absences, and align manpower allocation with operational priorities.
Maintain fairness, compliance, and efficiency while planning off days and shift rotations.
Communicate the approved rota to all team members and ensure strict adherence.
