About the role As a Field Specialist - Drill Bits, you will participate in drilling operations, parameter optimization and build successful customer relations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to complex drilling problems.

As a Field Specialist - Drill Bits, you will be responsible for: Supervise bit operations and provide recommendations for optimized drilling performance and be Competent in drilling rotary / Motor / Directional applications. Be familiar with different product types including PDC, Tricone and Hybrid drill bits, and other BHA tools/components. Develop and maintain positive relations with customer at rig site. Work with various other service team members (Directional drillers, Rig Drillers, Tool pushers, Mud Engineers) at rig site to achieve common goal of well delivery. Exceptional HSE focus and awareness. Good communication skills essential as are interpersonal skills to be an established team player. Must be very proficient in use of Microsoft systems and in generating job reports and providing communications with Base. Willingness to adapt to new systems. Work 6/3 rotation and be prepared to workdays off when necessary. Driver license preferable, but not essential.

Fuel your passion! To be successful in this role you will: Hold a minimum of a Technical Diploma - bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred. Have 3-5 years solid experience with drill bits, drilling environment or directional drilling. Demonstrate a thorough and analytical approach to proactively identifying and solving complex problems. Have the ability to build trusting relationships with external and internal customers, suppliers, peers and colleagues. Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others.
