Purpose

The Field Site Coordinator is responsible to oversee the operation of the village camp run by the contracted partner. The chosen candidate will be on a rotation base with 15/13 work schedule whereby an alignment is key with the back-to-back ensuring a similar style. To establish this, the candidate must have an overall knowledge/experience in facility management particularly in camp Run & Maintain (R&M), catering management & projects. Additionally, to liaison with the head office to provide updates on operation in the field through analytic tools such as KPI performance, cost monitoring, budget & future request that comes from the business. The candidate excels in interpersonal skills and is able to communicate at different levels with various stakeholders thus serving the business at the highest level.

Role and Responsibilities

Be a self-starter who has the gumption to liaise and communicate with many parties in a professional manner while representing the contract holder

Have the analytical ability to review excel spreadsheets and extract useful information, i.e: review quarterly surveys, comparing swipe data between camp & site, optimize room utilization at camp & advise accordingly

Report to Oman Facilities Manager (FM) Manager on a weekly basis with updates related to camp, i.e: safety performance, contract management, cost efficiencies & opportunities, worker welfare, sustainability, and project updates

Ensure the global RE objectives are translated locally and complying within the framework

Ensuring with camp management that integrated activity planning (IAP) is carried out in the correct manner

Liaise on a daily basis with other supporting function like; IT, security, logistics, etc...

Be a visible representative at the camp, this includes VIP visits, safety walks and residents (Shell & Contractor)

Coach, train and lead the team in performance and development of their duties

Ensure awareness and adherence to all globally driven worker welfare standards

Skill in HSSE, Contract management, Project, Worker Welfare (WW) & Soft & Hard services in field operation

What we need from You

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the oil & gas sector
