Dash-8 Maritime Patrol Aircraft \xe2\x80\x93 Field Service Representative (FSR) Abu Dhabi (UAE) PAL Aerospace is a leader in international aerospace and defense design, development, and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, heavy maintenance checks, and modifications. We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets. PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applicants for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics/Mission System) position in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a permanent position, which requires relocation to Abu Dhabi (UAE), and it may include scheduled deployments required to support operations. The role of the Field Service Representative (FSR) is to assist and provide guidance to the UAE operators and maintenance technicians for the onboard mission system and provide refresher training to the UAE AF operators and maintenance technicians as required. You will also be expected to provide a direct interface between the UAE and subcontractors and the respective Mission System vendors and suppliers to isolate and resolve issues. Job Duties:

- Advise/Assist personnel in troubleshooting unusual and difficult maintenance problems associated with Aircraft Mission Systems and related support equipment
- Advise/Solve any technical problems raised from day-to-day operations related to the aircraft mission system maintenance and support and test equipment
- Advise/Assist personnel with installation, operation, and maintenance techniques pertaining to the adjustment, calibration, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of UAE modified Dash 8 aircraft systems and related support equipment
- Advise/Assist personnel in the analysis and fault isolation of malfunction in the modified Dash 8 aircraft and related support equipment
- Advise/Assist personnel in the identification and instruction on the use of special tools, handling equipment, and associated test equipment
- Advise personnel in the development of local training programs designed to improve the quality of maintenance and inspections including advice in identifying needed training programs in assigned areas
- Demonstrate good safety and quality assurance practices and advise/assist personnel in the set-up and day-to-day running of their technical publication processes
- Provide assistance and advice in the management of logistics matters, implementation of a service bulletin, service letter, and the updating of associated documentation
- Formal Qualification in Aerospace/Aviation industry \xe2\x80\x93 required
- Experience on a Dash 8 aircraft
- Acoustic System \xe2\x80\x93 required
- Search Radar \xe2\x80\x93 required
- AMASCUS \xe2\x80\x93 required
- EO/OR (Electric-Optic Infra-Red Systems) \xe2\x80\x93 required
- Knowledge in aircraft maintenance and surveillance system \xe2\x80\x93 required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent technical presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
