Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting for a leading global industrial machinery manufacturer and provider of process heating solutions based in Dubai, UAE. Our client seeking a highly skilled "Field Service Technician" to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible t o serve as the field technical resource for the commissioning of new equipment, repair and preventative maintenance, and Factory Acceptance Testing on systems prior to shipment from our fabrication facilities.

The key responsibilities include:

- To interact directly and support customers on technical-related inquiries, troubleshooting activities, and support as required.

- Mobilize and travel to customer\xe2\x80\x99s facilities to meet the service objectives and goals set prior to departure.

- Mobilize to customer\xe2\x80\x99s facility to complete commissioning, preventative maintenance and or repair work as required to complete the committed scope requested by the customer.

- Responsible for completion of field service reporting documentation such as trip reports, timesheets, tuning reports, etc.

- Provide onsite training for operating and maintenance personnel.

- Responsible for completion of customer witnessed factory acceptance testing and documentation.

- Testing and configuration of control loops and various other instrumentation.

- Troubleshooting of complex issues that may arise during the execution of the job responsibilities.

- Responsible for tracking and maintaining all service tools required to complete assigned tasks.

- Responsible for ensuring that all measuring equipment is calibrated as necessary, and the Calibration Logs are updated accordingly.

- Understand and apply safe work practices and procedures to complete assigned work.

- Assist sales personnel with field service-related items for parts, retrofits, or projects as required.

Requirements

- High School diploma (minimum).

- 5-10 years of experien ce or more years of process heating equipment field service work.

- Must possess strong troubleshooting skills, electrical skills, mechanical skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to develop reports, charts, and graphs.

- Must have a strong understanding of field monitoring and measuring devices and use of field equipment (testers, analyzers, tools, etc.)

- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer is required.

- Must be able to make correct decisions on equipment modifications based on his or her field service knowledge & calculations.
