Job Purpose
You are expected to perform the following service requirements:
Be fully responsible & accountable for Safety of self and others
Hold safety, quality of workmanship and efficiency as values
Successfully complete SST
Contribute actively to all safety systems such as safety meetings, STOP cards
Contribute actively to Engineer's Reading File
Achieve target utilization of 17 days/month
Contribute actively to FNCR process
Supervise wellhead and Xmas Tree installations, maintenance and repair operations as required by the
company at wellsite locations, onshore and offshore Pre-job preparation of wellhead equipment and trees
Testing & Servicing of wellheads and valves
Attendance at customer FAT's
Well Surveys to assess condition and record information
Inspect and assess wellhead installation tools.
Carrying out the following mechanical services on wellheads and Xmas Trees
o Bolt Torqueing
o Casing Cutting
o Seized wellhead bolt cutting
o Onsite Machining
o Seized Lock Down Screw tip removal
Be prepared to travel locally and internationally to other regions as required
Be prepared to work unsupervised as required
Drive self-development to become knowledgeable of all products & services
Any other reasonable duties as and when instructed by your superiors.
The role's primary responsibility is Wellhead service oriented and includes: Installs, tests and repairs new and reworked TechnipFMC products (equipment and tools)
Handles customer comments, requests and complaints
Provides sales support ensuring the customer is fully informed of all aspects of the job
Completes Field Service Orders (FSO), job report, and accountable for the timely submission of these and other
revenue generating documents Assures all quality issues and documentation (equipment and procedural defects) is communicated and sent
back to Service Management / report and participate on RCA for any identify Nonconformance (eFNCR) Completes field documentation after the completion of each service job
Provides "Project Support" as required, handles project issues as they arise which eliminates downtime
Prepares and completes safety related documentation. Pursues safe work practices.
Leads others in completing tasks in accordance with procedures and applicable codes and/or standards
May serve as the on-site supervisor to the field service crew and for reporting back to Service management
Assists as needed with the development of procedural requirements for current and future jobs
FST will be reported to country Services Coordinator.
Candidates should have recognized Mechanical Engineering qualifications or Diploma. Adaptable, committed, technically
capable, customer focused and hands-on. The nature and working environment of the position calls for good
interpersonal skills, mobility, effective verbal and written abilities in English, and a valid driving license
You are meant for this job if:
Wellhead experience candidates with minimum of 5 years work experiences on wellhead installation - supervision and
product expertise capability summarize as below: Minimum 5 years of experience in field service technician role
Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following fields: electrical; subsea equipment; hydraulics
equipment; mechanical equipment and tools; structural steel Ability to read and understand drawings
Able to perform moderate complex calculations
Ability to understand, troubleshoot, explain and teach others about technical tools and instruments required to
perform duties Knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted internal business processes and procedures
