You will be working as Field Service Engineer, will be the part of Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area for Service & Digital Platform division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to provide world class customer service in ABB robotics

You will be working as Field Service Engineer, will be the part of Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area for Service & Digital Platform division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to provide world class customer service in ABB robotics
This position reports to
Local/Hub Division Manager
Your responsibilities
- Delivering high quality service in compliance with service procedures
- Identifying and attending to system and user problems arising from customers within short notice
- Building up the strong relationship with customer, identifying and establishing relationships with potential customers, understanding customer needs and transforming/developing them into business opportunities
- Performing robotics system preventive or corrective maintenance
- Performing robot and PLC logic programming, testing and troubleshooting as well as robot studio simulation
- Having an analytical ability to communicate with R&D team of ABB to identify root cause of issues
- Providing product training to customer, collaborating with service sales to support customer on system and product enquiries
- Performing sales of preventive or corrective maintenance contact and spare-parts to end-users
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree Mechanical Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 5 year working experience in automation environment and experience in robotics would be an added advantage
- Understanding of fundamental engineering principles, good command of english and strong communication and experience in customer coordination will be preferred
- Self-starter, can manage multiple tasks, multiple function and work effectively with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
