FIELD AND SPECIFICATION ENGINEER

As a

Field and Specification Engineer at Wurth Professional Solutions

, you will bridge the gap between

engineering design and project realization

, supporting our clients in the

facade and structural segments

across the UAE.
You'll work closely with consultants, facade specialists, and contractors to deliver

safe, efficient, and innovative fastening and connection solutions

-- while driving Wurth's engineering value and specifications into key projects.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE:

Pull-tests on site, training on site, accidental demands on site, technical support on site.

Reverse (bottom-up) specification, convert existing specifications to our products. Technical departments of contractors, facade companies.

Provide

engineering design assistance

for facade and structural applications, including

anchor systems, curtain wall fixings, steel connections, and sub-structure assemblies.

Prepare

design calculations, submittals, CAD drawings, and technical documentation

in line with UAE standards and project requirements.

Conduct

on-site support, pull-out tests, and installation checks

to ensure compliance and quality execution.

Collaborate with consultants and engineers to

optimize solutions for performance, safety, and cost efficiency.

Specification & Business Development

Develop and maintain

relationships with engineering teams of contractors, consultants, and developers

to ensure Wurth solutions are specified in early project stages. Identify and drive

key project opportunities

in facade, steel, and structural segments across the UAE construction market. Partner with the sales team to

convert specifications into successful project wins.

Support

market growth strategy

for facade and structural solutions -- engaging with top engineering firms, main contractors, and facade system providers.

Collaboration & Training

Deliver

technical seminars, design workshops, and lunch-and-learn sessions

for clients and internal teams. Provide

feedback from the field

to support product improvement and future development. Act as the

engineering interface

between Wurth's global product experts and local market needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Proficient in English. Arabic and/or Hindi is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil or Mechanical. Strong communication skills with a professional and presentable demeanor. 3-5 years of valuable experience in the UAE market. Previous track record in the role of Specification Engineer. Extensive knowledge and expertise in local and international codes and regulations such as ASCE7, UAE Building code, and more.

Building construction or similar industry experience is mandatory

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Good planning and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills Ambitious, self-motivated and resilient High attention to detail Valid UAE driver's license Based in Dubai; or willing to relocate to Dubai
