Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Fiberglass Technician with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and restoration of fiberglass components on our luxury charter yachts. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our fleet remains in showroom condition, providing a flawless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality fiberglass repairs, including gel coat blister repair, cracking, and structural damage. Conduct surface preparation, fairing, and finishing to meet premium cosmetic standards. Execute gel coat matching, spraying, and polishing to restore a flawless finish. Fabricate and repair fiberglass components, molds, and structural parts as needed. Work with composite materials, resins, and catalysts. Collaborate with the broader maintenance team on larger projects and refits. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality control standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years

of hands-on professional experience in fiberglass repair and fabrication, preferably in the marine, automotive, or aerospace industry. Proven proficiency in gel coat repair, spraying, and color matching. Strong knowledge of fiberglass laminating techniques, materials (polyester, epoxy, vinylester resins), and core materials. Ability to use relevant tools and equipment, such as grinders, sanders, spray guns, and rollers. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to achieving a premium, seamless finish. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
