to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of fiber optic products and solutions by leveraging your technical expertise and customer relationship skills. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide tailored solutions, and ensure successful deployment and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fiber optics market (FTTx, data centers, telecommunications, industrial, or other relevant sectors).
Present and demonstrate fiber optic products and solutions to prospective customers.
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender responses tailored to customer needs.
Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and product management teams to ensure proper solution design and support.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance and product education.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships and key accounts.
Meet or exceed sales targets and business development goals.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in fiber optic products or telecom infrastructure in UAE.
Solid understanding of fiber optic technologies, including cables, connectors, transceivers, and installation practices.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel as required for client meetings and trade shows.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in B2B technical sales within telecom or networking industries.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ITU, IEEE, TIA/EIA, or ISO.
Certifications related to fiber optics (e.g., FOA CFOT, BICSI, etc.) are a plus.
