VAM Systems is currently looking for Cyber Dfense Analyst for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions: Academic Qualification (Formal Education) Bachelor's Degree Professional Qualification Required ArcSight, EDR, Threat Intelligence Certifications Required CISSP, CEH, GCIH Experience: 4 to 6 Years Skills Experience working in Security OperationsCentre Expertise in doing the analysis and investigation of security incidents Handling the security incidents based on the severity and invoking the incident response plans and playbooks Understanding Existing & Emerging Cyber Dfense Technologies Understanding of dealing with various types of cyber attacks Cyber Security Compliance Cyber Security Monitoring Cyber Security Analysis Cyber Security Audits Cyber Security Best Practices Preferred Previous Work Experience Banking Technology Tools Required SENTINELONE END-POINT DETECTION AND RESPONSE ARCSIGHT CHECKPOINT SANDBLAST APT CHECKPOINT FIREWALL Responsibilities Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from various systems and applications to identify potential cyber threats and security breaches Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly, coordinating with incident response teams to contain and mitigate the impact of security breaches. Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats and attacks, providing detailed reports and recommendations to improve security posture Maintain and enhance security detection and prevention systems, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and other security tools Develop and maintain cybersecurity procedures, and guidelines to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements Conduct research on new and emerging cyber threats, including malware, viruses, and hacking techniques, and recommend strategies for mitigating those threats Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises to evaluate and improve the organization's incident response capabilities Assist in forensic analysis and digital evidence collection to support investigations and legal proceedings, as necessary. Work with external security vendors and service providers to assess, select, and integrate security solutions and services. Maintain a current understanding of the threat landscape, including the tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors Hypothesizes new threats and indicators of compromise Uncovers and implements innovative approaches to address inefficiencies in security monitoring processes. Creates cybersecurity measures and control plans to protect against unauthorized exploits.
