The waitress will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a bakery and French cuisine setting. She will ensure that guests enjoy a welcoming, efficient, and professional dining experience while upholding the restaurant's high standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, explain bakery items and French cuisine dishes, and make recommendations when required.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
Serve bakery products, pastries, and French cuisine dishes with proper presentation and attention to detail.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
Assist guests with menu inquiries, dietary requirements, and special requests.
Process billing and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Provide attentive service throughout the guest's dining experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a waitress in a bakery, cafe, or French cuisine restaurant preferred.
Strong knowledge of bakery items, pastries, and French cuisine dishes is an advantage.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong teamwork spirit.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
