TECHNICAL COORDINATOR \xe2\x80\x93 INTERIOR AND JOINERY JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Receive the project from Estimation \xe2\x80\x93 BOQ and tender drawings. 2. Study the BOQ and tender drawings to get an image of the project and scope of works involved. 3. Work with and manage the team to plan workload and deadlines, also maintain project schedule for drawing submissions. 4. Study the tender drawing and provide the RFI, if any to ensure accuracy of the drawings being started. 5. Prepare the Drawings Approval Log 6. Prepare the Material Approval Log 7. Make sure all drawings and materials are submitted in line with the tender drawings and BOQ 8. Should be able to make the coordinated architectural set of drawings including the plans & elevations, all being correlated and are properly coordinated as per the requirements. This activity is to be done by the technical engineer and the team; the technical engineer should also work on the AutoCAD drawings. 9. Preparing Joinery shop drawings with practical detailing and the drawings should be coordinated with the architectural. Prepare detailed shop drawings using Auto-cad in accordance with the specifications and conceptual drawing provided by the customer/consultant so as to enable the production department to start production. 10. Review the drawings prepared by the team to ensure it is accurate and as per standards 11. Should have knowledge in the joinery process to know the detailing. 12. Make sure that all the plans, elevations, joinery and MEP align with each other and there are not any issues when the set is submitted for approval or for production. 13. Pay attention to the title block and the detailing shown in each drawing. 14. Ensure conformity of the drawings to engineering standards, standard drawing practices, specifications and local authority requirements, meeting layout concepts. 15. Plan meeting with the client/designer for approval for drawings and materials. 16. Coordinate with clients, head designer, project manager, construction personal, installation personnel, and design team to achieve project deliverables. Support production/project team as and when required on design related queries, relevant during project development. 17. Assist design engineer in preparing procurement list of specific materials like Iron mongers, glass, steel etc. 18. Ensure that all required design deliverables are provided on time and are accurate in accordance with the specifications. 19. Should be good in Autocad (all versions) Microsoft excel and Microsoft Projects. 20. At least 5/7years experience is a must for this position in similar experience of detailing. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Civil Engineering, 5-7 years of experience in construction / interior / architecture industry with min 3-4 years in a carpentry/ joinery field. Knowledge of Auto cad and related software\xe2\x80\x99s is essential. Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
