to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including
general ultrasound, X-ray, and dental X-ray
examinations. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient safety, and support the smooth functioning of the radiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
diagnostic ultrasound scans
including abdomen, pelvis, small parts, and musculoskeletal studies as per protocols.
Conduct
digital X-ray examinations
in compliance with radiation safety standards.
Take and process
panoramic dental X-rays (OPG / Cephalometric)
as required.
Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety during imaging procedures.
Review images for clarity, quality, and diagnostic value before submission to the Radiologist.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data in the PACS/RIS system.
Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunction to the technical support team.
Adhere to
radiation safety protocols
, infection control policies, and confidentiality guidelines.
Assist in quality assurance activities and participate in continuing education programs.
Provide professional and compassionate care to patients at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma
in Radiography / Medical Imaging or equivalent.
Valid DHA license
or eligibility as a Sonographer or Radiographer.
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in performing Ultrasound, X-ray, and Dental X-ray (OPG/Ceph).
Strong knowledge of radiation protection standards and imaging protocols.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in women's health scans is an advantage.
Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging equipment.
Team player with a professional and ethical approach.
