Job Purpose:
This position requires foundational and practical knowledge in diagnostic imaging. The Radiographer will be responsible for:
Receiving and preparing patients for imaging procedures
Capturing high-quality diagnostic images using a variety of radiological techniques including
MRI
,
X-ray, Dexa and Ultrasound
Assisting with the safe and efficient flow of patients through the imaging department
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize
evidence-based practice
and clinical guidelines to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing them with clear, relevant information
Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Follow
local and national safeguarding policies
and procedures
Ensure accurate registration and documentation of patient data
Maintain a high standard of infection control and patient confidentiality
Collaborate effectively with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver optimal patient care
Minimum Qualifications & Knowledge:
Bachelor's Degree
in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, or Diagnostic Imaging from an accredited institution
(Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiography may also be considered)
DHA License or Eligibility
(preferred)
Fluency in English
(spoken, written, and read)
Arabic
language skills is a must
Strong computer literacy and familiarity with imaging software and PACS systems
Minimum Experience:
At least 2
year of experience
in
MRI
within the radiology field
Broad experience in general radiography techniques such as:
X-ray
Ultrasound
Bone Mineral Density Scanning
MRI
Job-Specific Skills:
Certification in
Basic Life Support (BLS)
is required
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
