Female Procurement Executive (Civil Engineering Background)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Female Procurement Executive with a strong background in Civil Engineering to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of UAE experience, preferably within the fit-out or construction industry, and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for materials, equipment, and services related to civil and fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities: * Procurement Management:

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors for construction materials, finishes, fittings, and other project-related items.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Vendor Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct regular vendor assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Assist in developing procurement budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or timelines.
• Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
• Coordination & Communication:

• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to understand material requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Fit-Out Procurement Expertise (Preferred):

• Specialize in sourcing fit-out-specific materials such as MEP components, partitions, ceilings, flooring, furniture, and sanitary ware.
• Knowledge of fit-out suppliers, market trends, and material specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in procurement, preferably within fit-out, construction, or interior contracting.
• Experience in procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of construction/fit-out materials and market rates in the UAE.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Female candidates with a civil engineering background and UAE-based fit-out procurement experience.
• Familiarity with UAE supplier networks and market dynamics.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
