Primary Teacher - IB School

Position Overview:
Our reputable IB school in Sharjah is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Primary teacher to join their Primary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about primary education, committed to inquiry-based learning, and capable of fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework.
- Support young learners' academic, social, emotional, and physical development through play-based and inquiry-led learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and caring classroom that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school events and the wider school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field (mandatory).
*Teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed. in Primary or equivalent).
*Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Primary (IB PYP experience is an advantage).
*Excellent communication skills in English.
*Passionate about child-centred learning and the principles of the IB.
*Culturally aware and open-minded, with a collaborative approach.

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 10,000 up to 14,000 AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification,
