We are seeking a skilled and creative Nail Technician to provide exceptional nail care services in a relaxing and hygienic environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about the beauty industry, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to delivering a superior client experience. You will be responsible for performing a variety of manicure and pedicure services, from classic treatments to advanced nail art, while upholding the highest standards of sanitation and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients warmly and conduct thorough consultations to understand their desired outcomes and address any concerns.
Assess the health and condition of clients' nails and skin, providing expert recommendations for services and at-home care.
Build strong, lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Maintain a friendly, professional, and calming demeanor throughout the client's visit.
Promote and retail nail care products and additional salon services.
Technical Service Delivery
Perform a full range of manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and buffing.
Expertly apply regular and gel polish for a flawless, durable finish.
Execute advanced services including gel and acrylic nail extensions, overlays, and enhancements.
Create custom nail art, from classic French manicures to intricate ombre, designs, and 3D artwork.
Provide specialized treatments such as paraffin wax therapy, exfoliating scrubs, and moisturizing hand/foot massages.
Safely and properly remove artificial nail enhancements.
Sanitation & Safety Compliance
Adhere strictly to all state and local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Meticulously clean, disinfect, and sterilize all tools, equipment, and workstations before and after every client service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting salon environment at all times.
Properly dispose of waste materials and chemicals in accordance with established safety protocols.
Operational Excellence
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize time and minimize client wait periods.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring supply levels and reporting needs.
Process client payments and operate the point-of-sale system.
Collaborate effectively with salon team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Commit to ongoing education by attending workshops and training to stay current on industry trends, techniques, and products.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Prior professional experience as a Nail Technician is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in all core nail services, including gel/acrylic systems and nail art.
Customer Service
: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport.
Artistic Ability:
A strong sense of creativity, design, and color theory.
Detail-Oriented:
High precision and a steady hand for intricate work.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Availability:
Flexibility to work during salon hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
