Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Help patients move safely, including turning, repositioning, and transferring them from beds to wheelchairs.
Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration).
Clinical Assistance
Support nurses and doctors during examinations and procedures.
Prepare and clean medical equipment and patient areas.
Collect specimens (urine, stool, sputum) for laboratory testing as instructed.
Observation and Reporting
Observe patients for any changes in condition and promptly report to the nurse in charge.
Record care activities and vital signs accurately in patient charts or electronic systems.
Comfort and Safety
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
Ensure proper infection control and hygiene practices are followed.
Assist in maintaining patient dignity and emotional well-being.
Communication and Coordination
Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
Follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team.
Logistics and Unit Support
Restock medical supplies and maintain inventory levels.
Transport patients, medical equipment, or specimens between departments when needed.
Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
