Responsibilities that you shall oversee.
Follows guidelines, policies, and procedures related to areas of care.
Conduct entry development checks for all children.
Provide confidential health advice for parents where applicable.
Providing nursing care and physical screening to the children and implementing first aid measures for students if needed.
Ensure compliance with MOH and SPEA guidelines & regulations.
Administer first-aid and or call for emergency assistance whenever required.
Conduct multiple daily temperature checks for children and maintain the well-being of children throughout the day.
Provide training for nursery staff to promote good health care practice.
Maintains, evaluates, and interprets cumulative health data to accommodate the individual needs of children.
Must have awareness and the ability to assess risk and ensure appropriate measures are taken within their practice to minimize risk to both themselves and others.
The practice's infection control policies and awareness of this in everyday practice.
Prepares the budget for school health supplies.
Identifies abnormal health findings.
Prepares and maintains students' incident records and prepares required reports.
Maintains clinic equipment and prepares the need for the clinic's consumable supplies on an annual and termly basis.
Must be aware and able to assess risks and ensure appropriate measures are taken within their practice.
Serves as a resource person to nursery personnel.
Reviews revise and implement the nursery's emergency policies, including in-service health and safety policies.
Plans and executes fire safety and other emergency drills.
Conducts daily, weekly, termly, and annual health and safety checks in classrooms and all other areas of the nursery.
Candidate requirement:
Attested Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
The candidate must be a resident of Sharjah or close by.
Valid Basic Life Support Certificate.
Patient and able to deal with pressure.
Must have a Valid MOH Nurse License.
Must have at least 1-year relevant experience in a nursery or school setting in UAE.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
