The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and landscape management principles. This role involves supervising field crews, ensuring optimal plant health, and upholding aesthetic and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of horticulture, plant species, turf management, irrigation networks, and pest/disease control.
Familiarity with hardscape maintenance (paving, pathways, curbstones, outdoor furniture).
Ability to prepare and review maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and work orders.
Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices (water conservation, native planting, recycling).
Plan, supervise, and monitor routine maintenance activities.
Manage manpower (gardeners, irrigation technicians, etc.).
Ensure upkeep of landscapes in public areas, parks, villas, or commercial developments.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients for site requirements.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to train and guide site staff on horticultural practices.
Organizational and reporting skills (daily, weekly, and monthly reports).
Problem-solving skills to address plant health or irrigation issues.
Awareness of workplace safety procedures.
Ability to conduct field inspections under outdoor conditions.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
3-5 years of proven experience in landscape maintenance (softscape & hardscape).
Experience inplant care, irrigation system management, pest control, and soil management.
GCC/Middle East experience in landscape maintenance projects (advantage).
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
Proven experience in landscape maintenance supervision.
Strong knowledge of plants, soil, irrigation systems, and outdoor lighting.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Proficient in MS Office and basic landscape management software.
Preferably Female with UAE Driving License.
