Job Description

Responsibilities :
- Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
- Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers\xe2\x80\x99 face shapes and tastes
- Wash, rinse and dry clients\xe2\x80\x99 hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners for oily hair or dry scalp
- Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns
- Apply hair treatment products, as needed . colour protection creams and hydrating masks
- Shampooing, cutting, colouring, and highlighting hairs
- Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the store.
- Keeping updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours
- Flexibility to work in shifts - licensing from a cosmetology school.
- Previous experience as a hair stylist or colorist.
- A wide pallet of styling and coloring techniques.
- Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers.
- Degree from Cosmetology school or Cosmetology programs. - Proven 2+ years of work experience as a Hairstylist in a Healthcare Department or a similar role. - A valid cosmetology license will be mandatory. - Strong working knowledge of hair care treatments and methods. - Proficient with a wide range of haircuts.
