Job Summary:
We are urgently seeking a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Female Demi Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. In this role, you will be a crucial support to the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., Saucier, Garde Manger, Patisserie). You are a team player with a strong foundation in culinary techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation & Cooking: Expertly prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
  • Section Management: Efficiently manage your assigned station during service, ensuring timely and consistent output.
  • Quality Control: Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and portioning of all dishes leaving your section.
  • Stock Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, conducting mise-en-place, and notifying the Chef de Partie of ordering needs.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Strictly adhere to all HACCP guidelines, health and safety regulations, and sanitation standards. Keep your section clean and organized at all times.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other sections of the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
  • Training: Guide and support Commis Chefs, helping to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Innovation: Contribute creative ideas for new dishes and menu development under the guidance of senior chefs.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Culinary Qualification: A relevant culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with some experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a high-volume, quality-focused establishment.
  • Section Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in at least one key kitchen section (e.g., Butchery, Fish, Sauce, Larder, Pastry).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards (HACCP certified is a plus).
