The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for customers in an auto maintenance workshop. They are responsible for providing a high level of customer service by handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, coordinating with technicians, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth and satisfying customer experience throughout the service process.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers professionally and courteously in person, by phone, or via email.
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms or service needs.
Schedule service appointments and maintain the workshop calendar.
Provide accurate estimates for services and repairs in collaboration with service advisors or technicians.
Explain services performed and associated costs to customers.
Communicate effectively with workshop technicians to track job progress and update customers on the status of their vehicles.
Handle customer complaints, issues, or returns in a professional and solution-focused manner.
Process invoices, payments, and maintain service records using workshop management software.
Ensure the reception area and waiting room are clean, organized, and customer-friendly.
Promote workshop services, special offers, or maintenance packages as appropriate.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or automotive background is a plus.
Previous experience in customer service; experience in an auto repair or service environment preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of automotive services and terminology is an advantage.
Proficient in using computers and office software; experience with workshop management systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset and a customer-first attitude.
Working Conditions:
Full-time, typically during business hours (may include weekends).
Work is performed mostly indoors at the service reception/front desk.
Occasional exposure to workshop environment (noise, fumes, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
