Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and answer any questions they may have.
Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shift.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
Inform customers about current promotions and loyalty programs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
Basic math and computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle transactions accurately.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
