Job Description

Provides professional health care to the patient as prescribed by the physician or Nurse and in compliance with regulations as established Health Authority of Abu Dhabi, the patient, and the policies of the Organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS 1. Seeks and obtains sufficient information necessary to function effectively in the health care setting where assigned. 2. Provides professional care by utilizing all elements of care giver process and maintains a safe environment for the patient. 3. Uses supplies and equipment effectively and efficiently. 4. Observes the patient for changes in condition and reports these changes and the patients' needs to the attending nurse or physician and appropriate supervisory personnel. 5. Assists the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patient's efforts for self-sufficiency and independence. 6. Fulfils the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments and maintains patient confidentiality. 7. Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.) 8. Assist clients with personal care and hygiene 9. Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency 10. Reporting any unexpected or worrisome conditions in the patient: medical, psychological, emotional, or otherwise REQUIRED EDUCATION Essential: Undergrad or Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or any Medical Health related degree REQUIRED EXPERIENCE At least two years experience as Caregiver in homecare or willing to work in a homecare setting REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Basic Arabic language and good English communication skills Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
