The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and tea drinks, while delivering excellent customer service in a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other cafe equipment safely and efficiently.
Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash/point-of-sale systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations, tables, and equipment.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management (beans, milk, syrups, pastries, etc.).
Follow hygiene, food safety, and health regulations at all times.
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers.
Assist with training new team members when required.
Upsell products and promote seasonal or specialty items.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista or in food & beverage service preferred (training may be provided).
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and cafe equipment.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods.
Lift and carry items up to 15 kg (e.g., milk cartons, coffee bags).
Perform repetitive tasks such as grinding, tamping, steaming, and pouring.
Must Have:
Valid QID
Food Handling Certificate
Previous experience as a Barista
Salary: 2800QR (Full Package)
