Female Assistant Head of Secondary

Our client is an expanding IB School in Sharjah, committed to academic excellence, holistic development, and international-mindedness. The school is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary female leader to join their senior leadership team as Assistant Head of Secondary.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Head of Secondary in leading the day-to-day operations of the secondary school.
*Drive academic excellence across the IB MYP and DP programmes.
*Lead curriculum development and pedagogical innovation in line with IB standards.
*Mentor and support teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.
*Ensure high standards of student wellbeing, discipline, and pastoral care.
*Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
*Contribute strategically to whole-school improvement and leadership planning.
Candidate Profile:
- Female (in line with the cultural and operational requirements of the school).
- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant subject; Masters degree or leadership qualifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a middle or senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the IB MYP and/or DP frameworks, is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to inspire and lead teams in an international and diverse environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 21,000 AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification,
