Job Description

• Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
• Assists patients in completing necessary forms and documentation.
• Registers patients according to established protocols.
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance
• Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
• Transfer calls as required.
• Keeping a clean and calm reception area.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
• Follows internal policies that includes, Insurance, Discounts, Schedules, and Cancellations.
• Follows the Line Manager's General Policies such as Work Schedule, Proper Grooming and Hygiene and others.
• Other duties assigned from time to time.
