Position Overview
As a
Hostess
, you are the first face our guests see and the last person they remember. This role is ideal for a presentable, confident, and Arabic-speaking female who can gracefully manage guest arrivals, waiting lists, and front-of-house ambiance. Your purpose is to create a welcoming and organized entry experience, especially during busy hours.
Key Responsibilities
Warm Guest Welcome:
Greet all guests with a genuine smile, warm tone, and polished appearance.
Waiting List Management:
Maintain and organize a clear waiting list during peak times and communicate estimated wait times professionally.
Table Coordination:
Liaise with the service team to coordinate guest seating as soon as tables become available.
Guest Communication:
Answer guest questions and manage expectations while they wait to be seated.
Front Area Maintenance:
Ensure the host/entrance area is always clean, organized, and aligned with the cafe's high standards.
Team Coordination:
Stay in close contact with the supervisors and service team to keep the flow of service smooth and timely.
Promotion Awareness:
Inform guests of any current cafe promotions, events, or specialties when appropriate.
Qualifications
Female, fluent in Arabic and English (required).
Previous experience in hospitality, hostessing, or customer service preferred.
Presentable, confident, and courteous at all times.
Ability to handle guest pressure with grace and clear communication.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Willing to stand for long periods and work weekends and holidays.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced cafe environment.
