JOB PURPOSE:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for surgical procedures, with primary focus on OB/GYN and obstetric cases.
• Manage general anesthetic requirements across a range of specialties as needed.
• Ability and experience to handle high-risk and emergency obstetric cases with confidence and sound clinical judgment.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
• Work collaboratively with Multi-disciplinary team.
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety standards, and clinical excellence within the department.

Experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years post-specialization experience, with the most recent 3-4 years in a busy private hospital setting In UAE
• Ability to handle diverse general anesthetic procedures.
• Advanced expertise in Obstetrics & Gynecology Anesthesia management, including complex and high-risk cases an added advantage

Education:

• MD Anesthesiology
• Candidates with Western Board Certification well regarded.
• Arabic language proficiency is highly desired.
• Strong decision-making and crisis management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient-centered, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach.
• Valid DHA license/eligibility is essential - Consultant or Specialist
