We are looking for a skilled Workshop Accountant with proficiency in QuickBooks to join our team. The Workshop Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial records within the workshop. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to leverage QuickBooks effectively to streamline financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage all financial transactions within the workshop, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including reconciling bank statements and monitoring inventory levels.
- Generate financial reports using QuickBooks, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on QuickBooks-generated reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting using QuickBooks to support long-term financial planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports as required by regulatory authorities, leveraging QuickBooks functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance, including advancements in QuickBooks software.
- Train and support other team members in using QuickBooks effectively for financial management tasks.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or similar role, with proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and ability to adapt to new software quickly.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
