Job Description

ILPRA Middle East, a leading provider of packaging machinery and materials, is looking for a skilled female Accountant / General Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on accounting experience and the ability to manage full accounting cycles -- from daily bookkeeping to preparing complete financial statements for audit.

Key Responsibilities



Record and verify daily accounting transactions using double-entry bookkeeping. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliations. Maintain accurate general ledger and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and review the Trial Balance and assist in month-end closings. Compile complete financial statements -- including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules -- for internal and audit purposes. Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards. Support year-end closing and collaborate with external auditors. Maintain detailed records for fixed assets, depreciation, and budgets.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2-5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred). Proven knowledge of double-entry accounting, trial balance, and financial reporting. Ability to prepare full financial statements for audit. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage 50 UK, or similar). Familiarity with UAE VAT filing and basic corporate tax rules. Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills. Excellent English communication skills and teamwork ability.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
