1. Keep financial records - Record income, expenses, and other financial transactions.
2. Prepare reports - Create financial statements like balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
3. Handle budgets - Help plan and track company spending.
4. Manage taxes - Prepare and file tax returns and make sure tax rules are followed.
5. Check for accuracy - Review records to make sure everything is correct and complete.
6. Process payments - Manage bills to pay (accounts payable) and money owed to the company (accounts receivable).
7. Run payroll - Make sure employees are paid correctly and on time.
8. Help with audits - Work with auditors to review the company's finances.
9. Give advice - Support managers with financial decisions using reports and analysis.
10. Follow rules - Make sure all work follows laws and accounting standards.
